About Nutri Space

Nutrition knowledge, made usable

Nutri Space is a small Indian organisation, based in Meerut, that runs DietXP. Our purpose is simple: take what nutrition science knows and turn it into things people can use at home, at work and in clinics.

Purpose

Why Nutri Space exists

A home kitchen counter in morning light with fresh vegetables, a bowl of dal, a steel tiffin and a notebook

Good nutrition information is easy to find and hard to use. Guidelines are written for professionals, much of the advice online is written for other countries' food, and products often promise more than their evidence shows.

We work on that gap. We write plain-language guides with their sources shown, build free tools that do the arithmetic for people, offer consultations with qualified experts, and sell a small range of products with their full labels and batch test certificates published.

Everything we publish should say who made it, what it is based on, and where its limits are.

How DietXP fits

Nutri Space is the organisation; DietXP is the brand

DietXP's own pages name Nutri Space as the operator of dietxp.com and the marketer of its products.

Our approach

How we turn information into something useful

These are the steps we follow today. Where a step is still informal, we say so.

  1. Understand the need

We start from a real question: something readers, clients or clinicians ask us, or a gap in nutrition information for Indian food, budgets and settings.

  2. Review the evidence

We read current guidelines (for example ICMR-NIN, ESPEN and WHO) and the original studies. Every reference is checked against PubMed or the publisher, and we read the full paper when a number depends on it.

  3. Make something practical

The result is an article, a calculator, a meal plan or a product page, written in plain language, using Indian foods and units, with its limits stated on the page.

  4. Test, review, improve

Each calculator's rules are tested against independent reference cases before release. Pages are checked on phone and desktop and for accessibility. Articles by guest authors are reviewed before they go live, and we correct pages when reviewers or new evidence show we should.

Not yet in place: an independent, external review board. Reviews today are done within the DietXP team and by its experts, and named on the page where they apply.

What evidence shows

Four kinds of evidence, and what each one can tell you

We keep these apart on every page, because mixing them up is how nutrition claims get stretched.

Research about an ingredient

ShowsWhat studies found for that ingredient, at the doses they used.

Does not showThat a product containing the ingredient has the same effect.

Testing of a product batch

ShowsWhat a laboratory measured in that batch, such as its nutrients or caffeine.

Does not showAny effect on health. It is a quality check, not a trial.

Checks of a digital tool

ShowsThat the tool calculates what its published method says, across thousands of test cases.

Does not showHow well that method predicts outcomes for a particular person.

Outcomes in people who use our work

Would showWhether DietXP's tools, advice or products change health for the people who use them.

Where we areWe have not published a study of this. Until we do, we make no outcome claims.
